Goa
Giri Puti Temple
There is a temple located in Nusa
Penida Island, Bali. That temple is “Goa Giri Putri”. Nusa Penida Island
located in the sout of Bali. The Island is separated by the sea. To go there,
we need the boat service to cross the sea. It is about one hour from Padangbai harbor.
The temple is very unique. I have not seen the unique temple like that before.
When I was in senior high school,
there was a ceremony in that temple. My family had a plan to pray in that
temple. We went to Padangbai harbor and waited for the boat service. We have
waited for one hour and the boat service came. We were ready to cross the sea
with the other people which had the same destination to go to Gua Giri Putri
temple. On the journey, we felt so worry because it was a sea a long our
journey. The people in the boat look so calm and nervous. I was afraid if the
boat had a trouble with the machine. I could not imagine that we were in the middle
of the sea without sawing the land. It made me headache. Suddenly I saw the
land in front of me. I felt so have could arrive with the good condition in
Nusa Penida Island.
After that we continue our journey
to the temple. It was about 30 minutes. We arrived at the park of the temple. We
need to take up the stairs. It was a long stairs. The people were so many, it
made crowded situation. We walked very slowly because so many people want to
pray to the temple. After one hour, we arrived at the temple. I felt so
confused with the temple, there was a small building and I did not know where
did the people go in front of me. I was surprised when I saw there is a small
cave. That cave is enough for one person to enter it. After I entered it, I felt
so surprised and proud. There was a large are in the middle of the cave. Many people
that I thought before were there. I felt happy to know where they were.
That was my best traveling ever. The
temple was so unique located in the middle of the cave. I have not seen the
temple like that before. I felt interested to visit once again. This is the
holy and unique temple that I have ever visited.
